One woman has died and four others were hurt following a two-car crash in north-west Wales.
Three of the casualties were airlifted to hospital and a fourth was taken to hospital by paramedics after the crash on the A496 at Barmouth, Gwynedd.
The woman died at the scene “despite the best efforts of the emergency services”, said North Wales Police.
Her next of kin have been informed.
