Ballynahinch: Police name man killed in Christmas Eve car crash

Police have named the man killed in a car crash in Ballynahinch, County Down, on Christmas Eve.

John Hanna, from Downpatrick, died in the collision on the Downpatrick Road at about 16:45 GMT on Tuesday.

He was 34 years old.

It was a single-vehicle collision involving a grey Volkswagen Polo.

The road was closed for a period of time but has since re-opened.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) appealed for information.
