Footage captured on a riverbank in Leicestershire has shown two otter cubs playing with their mother.
Amateur photographer Don West filmed the elusive animals by the River Welland near Market Harborough.
He said he had been recording at the same spot for five years but never got more than one otter on film at the same time.
“I leave the camera for a week, then go and change the battery and the card – you never know what you’ll have,” he said.
“I had seen the mother before but not the cubs. I just thought it was amazing,” he added.
“It was great to see them out playing and looking for food as a family.”
