Yr Wyddfa climber, 27, found dead, police say

A man who went missing after setting off to climb a mountain on Monday, has been found dead.

Named by police as Kieran, from Worcestershire, he was reported missing after starting to walk up Yr Wyddfa, also known as Snowdon, at 07:00 BST.

The 27-year-old’s family and the coroner have been informed, North Wales Police said.

Chief Inspector Emma Parry said: “My deepest condolences remain with Kieran’s family at this extremely difficult time.”
