Wrexham getting better all the time in the Championship – Parkinson

Following victory over Coventry, co-owner Rob McElhenney took to social media to reveal he held positive talks with Parkinson about the atmosphere at the club.

“Having spoken to Phil and a lot of the players it’s abundantly clear that the support they received against Coventry made a massive difference,” the American wrote on X.

“It’s hard to be that loud and positive, every game for 90+ min over an entire season.

“But I thought it worth mentioning that when the Racecourse is rocking, anything is possible. This is your team.

“We’re all invited and honoured to be a part of it. Support them in whatever way brings you joy but know that for sure, you are making a difference in their success. Thank you!”

And having seen his side take seven points from the last nine on offer, Parkinson hopes Wrexham can continue to be consistent as they look to improve on their recent positive record.

“We’ve got to keep producing the consistency levels with and without the ball. Both sides of the game have got to be in place to get wins at any level of football,” Parkinson added.

“But all in all, I feel we’re a team that’s getting better all the time.”
