A group of teddies have joined in with the excitement of the start of the men’s World Cup.
Stuart Race, 50, from The Woolpatch yarn shop in Long Melford in Suffolk, has had knitters far and wide make him football shirts, kitting out his teddies to create one huge team in his shop window.
In total, he said 59 shirts had been knitted, with some coming from as far as the United States, Canada and Germany.
“I feel my community is one giant football team — all with their skills and talents coming together to create a spectacle for all,” said Race.
“We just don’t have the pressure of scoring a goal or a penalty!”
