The Prince of Wales and Catherine, Princess of Wales, spoke to flood victims while visiting Pontypridd on Wednesday.

Among those they spoke with in the Rhondda Cynon Taf town were cafe owner Enrico Orsi and barber Josh Downes.

Mr Orsi said Prince William was very empathetic on hearing about the stress it had put them under.

“He said he is going to look into it for us,” Mr Orsi said.

Mr Downes added: “We’re desperate. Since the first flood I don’t know how many weather warnings we have had… we need action.”
