King Charles III and Queen Camilla will make their first state visit to the United States as monarchs to mark the 250th anniversary of American independence. The King is also expected to address a joint meeting of Congress.
The visit comes at a time of strained relations between the United States and the United Kingdom, amid tensions over the Iran war. US President Donald Trump has been highly critical of Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
