Four people trapped in flooded cave in Laos pulled to safety | World News

Four people trapped for more than a week in a flooded cave in Laos have been safely evacuated by rescuers.

It comes a day after another survivor was pulled from the cave.

Rescue teams have been working to drain more water out of the cave as they continue to search for two people who are still missing.

The villagers had reportedly entered the site last week to look for valuable minerals before being trapped by flash flooding that blocked their way out.

Another villager escaped in time and alerted the authorities to the seven left behind.

Five of the group were found alive on Wednesday.
