A man has been charged with murder after a man died in the street.
Essex Police were called to Hamlet Court Road in Westcliff, Essex shortly before 18:00 BST on Thursday following reports two people had been seriously assaulted.
A man was pronounced dead at the scene, and another was taken to hospital with serious injuries which are believed to be life-changing but not life-threatening.
Barry Mooney, 55, of Crowstone Road, Westcliff has been charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of a bladed or pointed article.
