Walking group set up in Brough for dashing dachshunds

A weekly dog walking group for dachshunds who like to socialise has launched in Brough, East Yorkshire.

The group was started by Fatima Azhar, who said the dogs were not “huge fans of other breeds” and needed somewhere to meet and gain confidence.

“A lot of these dogs weren’t socialised because they joined people’s families in the pandemic,” she said.

“When you see so many of them in one place at a time, it’s incredible. It does miracles for these little guys’ confidence.”
