Wales vs Australia: Josh Hathaway deserves debut, says Warren Gatland

Wales head coach Warren Gatland says Gloucester wing Josh Hathaway deserves his chance, as he prepares to make his debut against Australia in Sydney on Saturday.

Aberystwyth-born Hathaway, who has represented Wales and England at under-20 level, starts after being called into the Wales squad.

Gatland moved to secure the 20-year-old’s services after Exeter wing Immanuel Feyi-Waboso was in a similar position last season and chose England.
