‘That’s on me’ – Humza Yousaf reflects on end of his time as first minister

First Minister Humza Yousaf has said ending the power sharing agreement between the SNP and the Scottish Greens was the right thing to do – even if it has cost him his job.

Mr Yousaf, speaking to BBC Scotland’s editor James Cook, said it was the manner in which he ended the Bute House agreement that led to him paying the price with his job as leader of the SNP and first minister.

Mr Yousaf resigned as first minister on Monday after just over a year in charge, sparking the race for the next leader of his party and the next first minister of Scotland.
