Sunak asked about Tory voters possibly switching to Reform UK

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has been asked if the Conservatives may lose votes in the general election to Reform UK, while on a visit to Yorkshire and the East Midlands.

Speaking at a Centrica gas rig in the North Sea, Mr Sunak said it’s been a “very difficult time for the country” and he understands voters’ frustration.

“I’ve been clear that we have made progress but there is more to go but the point now is that we are on the right track and this election is about the future,” he told reporters.
