Steatotic liver disease (SLD) encompasses a spectrum of liver disorders characterized by excessive fat accumulation in the liver, including metabolic dysfunction-associated SLD (MASLD), MASLD with increased alcohol intake (MetALD), and alcoholic liver disease (ALD).
