A sixth form student will compete in the finals of a sustainable fashion competition after making a dress out of broken vertical blinds in her classroom.

Tabitha, who attends Ribston Hall High School in Gloucester, will be one of 10 competitors representing the UK at the Junk Kouture Finals later this year.

Tabitha said taking part in the competition was “really exciting” and “rewarding”.
