Hull KR hooker Bill Leyland has joined St Helens on a short-term loan for the second time this season.

Leyland initially went to Saints last month for the Good Friday home derby clash with Wigan Warriors.

The 23-year-old played that one game and ended up being the match-winner as he scored two late tries – his first in Super League – as St Helens beat their old rivals 34-24.

Now after being involved in the Robins’ last two league games, he is available to play for Saints again in their home game with York Knights on Friday (20:00 BST).
