Sir Michael Caine wows Bury veterans’ pub with signed Zulu photos

The pub, which has a room filled with veterans’ photographs of their time in service, hosts weekly hot meals and offers a range of support to former service personnel.

Sir Michael’s signed photographs read: “To the Two Tubs, the best pub, thank you for supporting the veterans”.

Mike Hall, chairman of the Bury branch of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, said the actor’s gift was “fabulous”.

“He decided to send them when he heard about what we do for the veterans,” he said. “It came out of the blue.”
