Seal rescued after washing up on Cornish beach in St Agnes

A female seal pup has been rescued from a beach in Cornwall after it became stuck.

The seal was found last week at Trevaunance Cove in St Agnes and marine wildlife experts from British Divers Marine Life Rescue attended.

The team weighed and examined her and decided she needed to be helped.

She was taken to a nearby seal hospital where she would be rehabilitated and released back into the wild.
