“Stalking is part of a pattern of behaviour that ultimately can cost you your life.”
ITV weather presenter and journalist Ruth Dodsworth has said stalking was a part of her daily life and she lived in fear of her now ex-husband.
Jonathan Wignall was sentenced to three years for stalking and coercive and controlling behaviour in 2021, and Ms Dodsworth said she was still as scared of him as ever before.
A BBC Wales Live investigation found only five Stalking Prevention Orders were issued in Wales in 2023, despite more than 8,000 reports.
