Robbie White: Middlesex wicketkeeper to retire at end of season aged 29

Middlesex wicketkeeper Robbie White has announced he will retire at the end of the season, aged 29.

The academy graduate scored 1,781 runs with the bat in 59 matches across all formats for the club.

White made his first-class debut for Middlesex against Durham MCCU in 2018 and went on to make 32 red-ball appearances for the club, scoring 1,330 runs at an average of 25.57.

“It has been a huge privilege to be part of the Middlesex squad for the last 10 years, having come through the pathway since I was nine years old,” he told the club’s website., external

“I will always cherish the great memories I’ve had from the game, particularly here at Lord’s, and I leave having given my absolute all to the club.”
