R&B singer Chris Brown has been remanded in custody until 13 June by a judge in Manchester over an allegation of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

Brown, 36, was charged with the alleged assault, which reportedly took place at a venue in Hanover Square in Mayfair on Sunday 19 February 2023.

The 36-year-old was arrested at a hotel in Manchester in the early hours of Thursday by detectives from the Metropolitan Police.
