Rapper Digga D wants court case resolved so he can gig

A lawyer representing one of the UK’s leading rap stars has urged a court to deal with his drugs charges “sooner rather than later” so he can continue performing.

Digga D, whose real name is Rhys Angelo Emile Herbert, will appear at Lincoln Crown Court on 28 May.

The 23-year-old, of Lonsdale Road, London was due for a hearing today but no video-link was available at Wormwood Scrubs where he is in custody.

The drill artist, whose tracks have been listened to by millions, has been charged with supplying and importing cannabis.
