Ealing Trailfinders full-back Tobi Wilson will make the step up to the Prem after signing a deal with Bristol Bears for the 2026-27 season.

The 22-year-old has established himself as one of the most dangerous backs in the second tier, making 50 appearances across spells with Trailfinders, Coventry and Worcester.

Wilson has scored 24 tries in 37 appearances since arriving in west London in 2024.

Bears director of rugby Pat Lam told the club website, external that he has been impressed with the impact Wilson has made in the Champ.

“We have a strong track record of identifying players in the Championship who are ready to step up, and we’re confident Tobi has all the attributes required to make that transition,” he said.

“I’ve been particularly impressed by his fearless mindset and the way he combines pace, skill and game awareness.

“He has a real ability to influence matches – whether through his finishing, his impact in broken play, or his willingness to take the game on and create opportunities.”
