Portchester: Tribute to ‘loving’ teen cyclist killed in crash

A teenager who died after the bike he was riding collided with a car was “loving” and “full of life”, his family have said.

Ethan Wilkie, aged 16 and from Portsmouth, died in hospital following a crash with a silver Honda Jazz just before 21:45 BST on 13 August, external.

The incident happened at the junction of Portsdown Hill Road, Portchester Lane and Skew Road in Portchester, police said.

An 18-year-old man from Gosport was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and drug driving, and has been released on bail until 12 September.
