Police not seeking suspects after body found in attempted murder case

A man whose body was found County Down on Saturday has been named as 54-year-old Jonathan Baker.

Police found Mr Baker’s body while investigating the attempted murder of two people in Bangor on 24 December. He had been named as a suspect in the case.

The incident happened after a man, armed with a knife and a hammer, entered a house on Chippendale Avenue at about 15:30 GMT.

A man aged in his 20s and a woman aged in her 50s both received serious injuries and have since been discharged following hospital treatment.
