Police are appealing for information following reports a man indecently exposed himself in Londonderry.

The incident happened in Slievemore Park at about 21:45 GMT on 2 November, the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said.

Investigating officers have since carried out an extensive check of camera footage from the area, door-to-door enquires and patrols have increased in the area.

But police are now asking anyone who may have witnessed suspicious behaviour between 21:30 and 22:00 on 2 November or who may be aware of similar incidents to come forward.

The man is described as 5’6″ tall, of small and solid build and wore a balaclava and black hooded jacket and trousers.

“We take reports of this nature incredibly seriously, and our officers have been making extensive enquiries in relation to this incident,” PSNI Insp Ryan Robb said.

“We’re also keen to hear from residents who we may not have spoken with, but who may have information, or relevant camera footage, which could assist our enquiries,” the senior officer added.
