The incident took place on Burnhead Road near its junction with Hill Street

A 54-year-old woman has died after her pick-up was involved in a crash in Perth and Kinross.

The incident happened at about 09:30 on Burnhead Road, Blairgowrie, near its junction with Hill Street.

The woman, who was driving a Toyota Hilux, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have appealed for witnesses to the collision to come forward.

Sgt John McDiarmid said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the woman who died.

“I would also ask anyone who was in the area at the time and may have dash-cam footage which could assist to contact us.”
