Petrol bomb caused north Belfast fire

A fire at an apartment in north Belfast was caused by a petrol bomb being thrown through the window of the property.

Police received a report that four masked men had broken a window and thrown a petrol bomb in the Cliftonpark Avenue area at about 22:10 BST on Tuesday night.

The fire service and police attended the scene and the fire was put out.

No-one was in the property at the time.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
