A missing Chihuahua returned after her owners camped and cooked sausages for five days on the field where she disappeared.
Liam Enisz and his partner, from Stockton-on-Tees, said their beloved pet Penny was “very food orientated” so they hoped her favourite smell would entice her home.
Eleven days after she went missing, which was coincidentally also her birthday, Penny was finally captured and reunited with her family.
Mr Enisz got a tattoo to celebrate Penny’s adventure and return.
