Para-surfer Llywelyn Williams earns fourth straight world title

Llywelyn Williams has won gold for the fourth consecutive year at the ISA World Para Surfing Championship in California.

Williams, from Abersoch, has now triumphed in the men’s kneeling category every year since 2022.

Dijackson Santos of Brazil finished in second ahead of Mexico’s Juan Martin Diaz Martinez.

Williams has reached the finals on nine occasions.

He had his leg amputated when he was 16 years old after being hit by a car while skateboarding.
