Residents have been evacuated from flats in Paisley after “suspicious items” were found following a nearby car fire.
Emergency services were called to the blaze in the George Street area of the Renfrewshire town at about 08:15.
Police Scotland said a number of “suspicious items” were found in the common close of a building nearby which was evacuated as a precaution.
There were no reported injuries and a 41-year-old man had been arrested over the incident.
