Old Edinburgh quarry is now Europe’s largest inland surf resort

Ever fancied catching a wave in a disused quarry?

Now you can. After a £60m investment, Scotland’s first inland surf resort has opened in a former brownstone site at Newbridge in Edinburgh.

With a wave pool three times the size of a football pitch, Lost Shore is Europe’s largest surf resort of its kind.

So, how does it work? Lost Shore founder Andy Hadden explains.
