This is the moment two nurses in China rushed to protect newborn babies when a powerful earthquake struck neighbouring Myanmar on Friday.

CCTV from a maternity unit in Ruili, a Chinese city near the border, shows one woman kneeling down to protect an infant, as another nurse holds on to other babies in their cots.

Both the nurses and newborns escaped unhurt.
