Newtownabbey: ATM stolen from service station on Mallusk Road

Detectives are appealing for information after an ATM was stolen from a service station in Newtownabbey on Thursday morning.

The ATM on the Mallusk Road was damaged and part of the machine containing a sum of cash was removed sometime between 1:00 GMT and 2:00.

It is believed the machine was approached from the rear.

They have asked businesses in the area to check their CCTV.

PSNI Det Ins Lenaghan also appealed “to anyone who may have been in the area at the time and witnessed the incident or to anyone with dash-cam [or] other footage that could assist with our enquiries to contact detectives”.
