Motorcyclist killed in crash with tanker in East Lothian

A motorcyclist has died in a crash with a tanker in East Lothian.

The 21-year-old was died at the scene of the incident involving a Scania tanker and Kawasaki ZX 900E1 bike on the B1345.

Police closed the road, about 1.5 miles north of Drem, for several hours while an initial investigation took place shortly after 07:30.

The driver of the tanker was uninjured. Officers appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the crash to come forward, external.
