A 26-year-old man has died after he was involved in a two-vehicle crash outside Doagh, County Antrim on Friday.

Motorcyclist Jamie Fleming, from Ballyclare, was pronounced dead at the scene, police have said.

The collision, between a blue Yamaha motorcycle and a blue Skoda Enyaq, happened on the Ballymena Road at about 13:40 BST on Friday.

Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.

Jamie’s father Alan said in a social media post on that the family are “devastated by this loss”.

“We appreciate your love and support during this difficult time and ask for privacy as we grieve,” he wrote.

Jamie’s former school, Ballyclare Secondary School, also paid tribute: “Jamie will be remembered fondly by many within our school community, and our thoughts and heartfelt sympathies are with his family, friends and all who knew and loved him at this difficult time.”
