GoogleA police investigation is under way after a man was hit with a belt and forced to hand over money via bank transfer.
Officers were called to Bath Lane in Leicester on Saturday after reports a number of men, aged 18 and 19, had visited a property.
Leicestershire Police said one of the men was then attacked while inside the address.
The suspects had left the scene before officers arrived, the force added, and it was then disclosed something similar had happened at a property in Leicestershire the day before.
Police said a group of men had arrived at the address in Harborough in the early hours of Friday morning, and demanded those inside transfer money to them and hand over designer clothing.
A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery and has since been released on bail.
Police said inquiries were continuing and urged anyone with any information to get in touch.
