Man dies after crash between two cars near Dornock

A 51-year-old man has died in a crash between two cars in Dumfries and Galloway.

Police Scotland said the accident happened on the B721 between Annan and Gretna, near Dornock, at about 09:45.

It involved a grey Mini and a black Range Rover. The man driving the Mini died at the scene while a 62-year-old woman driving the Range Rover was taken to to hospital with non-serious injuries.

Sgt Andrew Hogg said: “Inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are asking anyone who saw what happened to get in touch, external.”
