A 40-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a reported rape in Glasgow’s Queen’s Park.

Police said the attack was believed to have happened between 12:30 and 01:00 in the early hours of Christmas Eve.

The man has been released pending further inquiries.

Police Scotland, which has cordoned off a wooded area of Queen’s Park, added that patrols would continue over the coming days.
