Man charged with assaults during Glasgow Green protests disorder

Fifteen arrests were made in the immediate aftermath of the trouble, but police have continued to try to identify those involved.

At the time Police Scotland said the behaviour was not legitimate protest but instead amounted to “violence, intimidation and fear.”

The force added that “disparate groups” had engaged in acts of violence, disorder, intimidation and hate-motivated offences at various locations in Glasgow.

In July police said officers had recovered weapons on the day that indicated there was an intention by some protesters to cause “pre-meditated disorder, violence, and intimidation”.

Police Scotland said extensive enquiries remain ongoing and anyone with information should contact the force, external.

A Major Incident Public Portal (MIPP) has also been set up to encourage members of the public to submit information directly to officers.
