A man has been arrested and charged in connection with a gangland feud, bringing the total number of arrests to 63.

The 31-year-old was charged over three fire-raising incidents in Edinburgh and he is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court later.

The incidents took place on Niddrie Marischal Crescent, Pitcairn Grove and Prestonfield Crescent on 17 April.

Operation Portaledge was launched after a series of violent incidents earlier this year.

The feud has led to assaults, shootings and fire bombings across the east and west of Scotland.
