Man charged eight months after fatal A93 crash near Meikleour

A 30-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a fatal crash on the A93 in Perthshire last year.

The incident, which involved a van, a car towing a caravan and a tractor with a trailer, happened near Meikleour at about 11:40 on 13 September.

The driver of the car, a 69-year-old man, died at the scene.

A woman, 69, who was a passenger in the car and the male van driver, 29, suffered minor injuries in the incident.

Police Scotland said a report would be sent to the procurator fiscal.
