BBCA 36-year-old man has been arrested and charged following the serious sexual assault of a 17-year-old girl in Dundee.
The incident is said to have taken place after 21:00 on 19 September in the Pentland Avenue area of the city.
The force had earlier said that the teenager is being supported by specialist officers.
The man will appear at Dundee Sheriff Court at a later date.
Det Insp Graeme Wishart said: “We know this incident has caused concern in the local community and I would like to thank members of the public for their support during our inquiries.”
