Man charged after drugs worth £350,000 seized in Elgin

Police said the drugs were found on Wednesday

A man has appeared in court after drugs said to be worth £350,000 were seized in Elgin.

Police Scotland said cocaine and cannabis was found at a property in the Moray town’s Barmuckity Lane on Wednesday afternoon.

Dairis Eglitis, 30, appeared at Elgin Sheriff Court where he faced two charges of being concerned in the supply of drugs.

He made no plea and was granted bail.
