Man brought to hospital after early morning stabbing

A man has been brought to hospital after a stabbing in north Belfast, police have said.

They received a report at about 05:10 GMT on Wednesday that a man in Woodland Avenue had been stabbed in the abdomen.

Police attended along with ambulance service who took the man to hospital for treatment.

The police are looking for anyone with information to contact them.
