Man arrested after van drives on wrong side of M9 near Stirling

A van driver has been arrested and charged with road traffic offences after his vehicle was driven on the wrong side of the M9.

Police Scotland said it was informed of the incident near Stirling at about 04:30 on Sunday.

Officers said the van was traced and brought to a safe stop.

A force spokesperson said the 33-year-old man was expected to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court later.
