Man arrested after cyclist hurt in hit-and-run in Glasgow

A 21-year-old man has been arrested after a cyclist was seriously hurt in a hit-and-run in Glasgow.

The 47-year-old man was hit by a black Ford Fiesta on Drumoyne Road, Govan, at about 18:10 on Wednesday.

Police Scotland said the car did not stop and was later found in nearby Kennedar Drive. The occupants – two men aged 21 and 19 – were also traced.

The driver was arrested and the force said inquiries were ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
