A man is to stand trial over a number of “religiously offensive” posters placed on bus stops in Fife.
Ian McLauchlan is alleged to have put up the material in areas including Kirkcaldy, Levenmouth and Glenrothes last month.
The 72-year-old denied a single charge of a religiously aggravated hate crime under the Hate Crime and Public Order (Scotland) Act during an appearance at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
A trial date has been fixed for 22 May.
