Man, 64, dies in single-car crash in Aberdeenshire

A 64-year-old man has died in a single car crash in Aberdeenshire.

He was pronounced dead at the scene on an unclassified road between the A980 at Torphins and the B9119 at Tornaveen.

The incident involving a Skoda Octavia is believed to have taken place between 23:15 on Thursday and 06:30 on Friday.

Police Scotland Sgt Pete Henderson said inquiries were ongoing into the circumstances of the crash.
